BIG BUTTON BLOG-O-RAMA!

I’ve recruited two soon-to-be famous models to show you the latest in fashion accessories – “Mom for President” buttons.

Amy (nearly 9) and Megan (11)

If you want to know how absolutely stunning these buttons look, Amy and Megan model them on their sport shirts.

Thanks, girls!

You, too, can have one of these spiffy buttons, which are part of a promotion for my novel – AS IF BEING 12 ¾ ISN’T BAD ENOUGH, MY MOTHER IS RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT!

If you live near The Shops at Mission Viejo in Los Angeles or Orland Square in Chicago, bazillions of buttons are being given away March 1st and March 2nd.

If you miss the big button give-a-way or don’t live anywhere near Los Angeles or Chicago, you can still WIN one of THREE buttons I’ll be giving away. To enter, leave a comment on this blog about one nice thing you’ve done in the past month. That’s it.

Winners will be chosen at random and announced Friday, March 7th.

Good luck!
Donna

My one nice thing is that I made my son Mrs. Perez's lemon squares - after reading My Mother is Running for President we just had to have them!

well, this month i received an eagles shirt , that was part of an eagles clinic that I went to. well, it was too small for me, so I gave it to my moms friends son to have, since he wasnt able to attend the clinic. And I finally got up to my name in the book. very cool. from (kyle) i would love to wear one of those buttons!!

Hi Donna, Great idea for the buttons. I met you at the Florida SCBWI conference and really enjoyed your speech (the night of the first books panel). Thanks for this blog with so many good tips. I also read "Plug Your Book" which was very helpful.

I'm going to pick up your book this week. Great premise! I love the expression on the girl's face on the cover.

I see you live in South Florida. I do too, and I think you're in my neck of the woods too (or swamp, down here). I hope our paths meet soon.

Wishing you continued success,

:) Debbie Reed Fischer

Okay, I really want one of those buttons, but I can't think of anything outrageously nice I've done lately. Unless you count inviting my inlaws for dinner last night when I was not up to having company. It was just the right thing to do, and I knew that, so I ignored the "please just take it easy tonight" voice in my head and we all had a very nice visit.

That's it. I'll try to do better this week:)
