Thanks so much to Donna for this contest and to Janeen Mason for donating and signing the copy of Gift of the Magpie which we won. It is such a lovely tale, funny and poignant, and my son and I love it. We received our book in the mail and the colors are glorious with the rich black forms against the velvety bright colors. All the little details of the fellow magpies, the different shoes etc are wonderful. Thanks for a great blog post which I greatly enjoyed, and the chance to win this beautiful book!
